Speaking at Lean/Agile US 2017 – February 27-28th

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minute

Lean/Agile US 2017 is a new conference taking place in south Florida on February 27-28th. It is an interesting attempt trying to “reboot” some of the missing Lean-oriented agile community.

I was invited to speak about approaches to Scaling Lean/Agile from my perspective and experience as well as give a deeper half-day introduction to SAFe workshop.

The program looks very interesting with lots of long-time friends who happen to be thought-leaders in our small world of post-agile thinking.

If you’re interested in going beyond the classic treatment of Agile/Scrum (And I’m guessing you are if you’re reading my blog…) you’ll find the program and the discussions very refreshing I’m sure.

So – see you in Fort Lauderdale later in February?

Slides from my Large Scale Kanban Talk at Lean Kanban Benelux 2011

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minute

Here are my slides from my talk today, in prezi form. Some concepts I talk about are

  • Classes of Treatment – not everything deserves the same kind of treatment…
  • Kanban principles scales cleanly from team to portfolio
  • Informing Team/Org Structure from Kanban thinking
  • Context-specific explicit policies more important the higher you scale.
  • Adoption Kanban – what happens in an internal consumer-producer supply chain inside large portfolios and how to use Kanban thinking to improve it.
  • Stealth Kanban

I’d love to hear what you think, whether you attended my talk or not.

If you go through the prezi, would like to understand more, let me know. I might be convinced to do a webinar about this if several people request it. Easiest way is to contact me on twitter at @yuvalyeret.

My slides from Lean Kanban Benelux 2011 – Commitments and Energies in a Kanban system

Estimated Reading Time: 1 minute

I’m currently at LKBE11 enjoying the great lineup of speakers and great atmosphere.
As for my part, I’m 50% done…

Below is my Prezi for Commitments and Energies in a Kanban/Pull system.
I’ll share tomorrow’s prezi tomorrow once I finish some last responsible moment tweaks based on things I heard today and want to emphasize / relate to.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.
