Two of the questions I’m frequently asked these days “Do we need the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)?” as well as “CAN we (safely) implement SAFe?”. I recently published a self-assessment based on the questions I typically help organizations answer when they’re looking at this.
The self-assessment starts with questions to establish the need for agility, continues to looking at the style of agility being desired, the style of guidance the people in the organization prefer to have and finishing with some specific questions around the ability to implement SAFe with some of its unique practices such as the big room planning.
